| Plenty of people were on the move to end Alzheimers this morning. Dozens of people laced up their walking shoes for the annual Memory Walk. The money raised goes to the Alzheimers Association. Since it began in 1989, Memory Walk`s have raised more than 230-million dollars nationwide. It`s a devastating disease that has most likely affected someone we know. "I do this in memory of my mother, she had Alzheimers. She passed away 4 years ago. It`s a very tough disease for someone to go through," said Darlene Danielson. About 30 teams from all over North Dakota and from all across the country participated in today`s walk. |
