The Imperial Japanese Navy's surprise attack on Pearl Harbor in Oahu, Hawaii, severely damaged or demolished 19 American naval vessels, destroyed 188 aircraft, killed 2,280 American servicemen and 68 civilians, and wounded more than 1,000 military personnel. Breakfast With Buddha by Roland Merullo did not receive great acclaim that I was aware of when it was released in fall of 2007, but I have just finished reading it and I can’t begin to tell you how much I enjoyed it.
